IPL Final 2017- Clash of the Titans

Two-time winners MI will lock horns with Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in the title clash in Hyderabad on Sunday. The match will even more spiced up as Steve Smith's Pune has beaten Rohit Sharma's side on all three occasions this term.

However, Rohit is locked in another intriguing battle with former India and Pune captain MS Dhoni. Having played all ten editions of the tournament, the duo has set and broken several records.

While MS Dhoni seems to have hit form at the right time, Sharma will be desperate to deliver for his team in the final. The stylish right-hander on Friday became the first Mumbai Indians batsman to go past the 3000-run mark.

'Hitman' also became only the second player, after Raina, in the IPL's history to score 300 runs in every edition of the tournament

It will also be a battle of the young blood of Indian cricket going against each other with likes of Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya proving their metal in the final against Pune’s youngters like Washington Sundar and Rahul Tripathi.

Rahul Tripathi vowed to score against Mumbai after getting out on a duck in the first qualifier. He further said,” For me it is just a dream experience and I am extremely thrilled to play with and against world class players. It's been a pleasure to train and learn under the guidance of top notch players like Steve Smith and M.S. Dhoni. The journey till here has been exhilarating and I look forward to play with the same spirit in the final.”
