Champions Trophy- Players to watch out for
Champion’s trophy has reached its business end and each team
has their own players to watch out for. We present to you the players which we
think will play a big part in their teams hopes of winning the cup.
Mohammad Amir(Pakistan)
Mohammad Amir’s comeback from his ban has been magical. He has been spitting venom to batsmen with his pace and swing. Early in the game he does not let batsmen settle and this has benefitted Team Pakistan. In the last game of the league stage he showed he can bat too and against England in Cardiff he can use the pitch to trouble the English batsmen. If Pakistan is to win the match against England his bowling exploits will be the key.

Jasprit Bumrah (India)
The Indian sensation has been on a spree since his
international debut last year. Within one year he rose to no. 1 bowler in T20
cricket which shows the calibre of his talent. He learnt to bowl deadly Yorkers
from the master himself, Lasith Malinga. Even though he has picked up just two
wickets in the tournament, he has helped Team India build pressure on batsmen
by not giving away many runs. How Captain Virat Kohli uses him now will be key
in the semi final against Bangladesh.
Ben Stokes (England)
The no.1 all-rounder has had a good tournament with a century
against ashes rivals Team Australia. He has even taken 3 wickets so far. With
his all-round abilities he can singlehandedly win matches for England which we
saw against Australia. He has also collected a wealth of experience playing all
around the world which he will use against an unpredictable Pakistan Team.
Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh)
The Bangladeshi batsman has been key to their qualification
to the semis. He scored a mature 128 against host England and displayed good
cricket against Australia. He is the third highest scorer of the tournament and
if Bangladesh is to upset India then they will require him to give them a solid
start. He also has a wealth of experience and defeating India a decade ago in
the 2007 World Cup will be yet fresh in his mind and would fancy his chance of
defeating them again.
These players will surely entertain the audience with their
game and they will make sure their team excels in the field.
All stars performed well bro.
