“I was surprised when it was declared that N. Srinivasan will represent the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an International Cricket Council (ICC) Board Meeting in Barbados held from June 24 to June 26 this year. I asked myself, how a person barred from becoming BCCI President was eligible to represent BCCI in an ICC meeting ? It was earlier in the month of March when Jagmohan Dalmiya was elected as the BCCI president that too after a gap of 10 years and ideally should have represented the BCCI at the ICC Board Meeting in Barbados.
